Florence is the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany.
The city lies on the River Arno and is known for its history and its importance in the Middle Ages and in the Renaissance, especially for its art and architecture. A centre of medieval European trade and finance and one of the richest and wealthiest cities of the time, Florence is considered the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance; in fact, it has been called the Athens of the Middle Ages. It was long under the de facto rule of the Medici family. From 1865 to 1870 the city was also the capital of the Kingdom of Italy.

The apartment is situated on the third floor of a typical dwelling located in the centre of Florence; just a few minutes from Santa Maria Novella railway station.
It is equipped with an open lounge-kitchen, with a small double sofa bed; a doubleroom with a king size bed and a bathroom with box shower.
From the apartment it is possible to visit by foot all the historical centre and reach comfortably the main places of artistic interest: Piazza Duomo, Via Calzaiuoli, Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Pitti.
The area offers many typical florence restaurants, “trattorie” and wine cellars.
The bus station is just 100 meters and the railway station 5 minutes walking from the apartment.
Apollo
Set under a gazebo, in the terrace, you have a beautiful view on the city of Florence.
In this apartment you can find a large lounge, with a fitted kitchen and wooden cupboards. A table for four people, and a double sofa bed, a large window from which you can see the big terrace.
In the main bedroom you find a double bed and a bathroom with bath-tub.

The building is located close to a noble Florentine square, where the Ghiberti family lived.
An every day flea market characterised the square, where to find old lamps, books, bijou and ancient objects.
These Suite apartments are positioned in the centre of the old city about 150 metres from the square of “Santa Croce”, 350 metres from “Piazza del Duomo” and about 500 metres from Via Tornabuoni.
In the building there are two modern elevators to get to the apartments.
In front of the building there is car parking for about 12 cars (charges not included in the rental price).
Inside there is a reception area to receive and assist guests.
